Julia Görges has confirmed she will return from injury for the upcoming tournaments in the US.
The German, who has recently won titles in Moscow, Zhuhai, and Auckland, is the first WTA player to serve 100 aces this season, was forced to retire hurt in the Qatar Open quarter-finals against Petra Kvitova last month.
However, she has posted an update on social media, revealing her imminent return to action.
“I am glad to share some news with you.
I am back in training and my hip has recovered well so I can prepare the best I can for my upcoming trip to the US.
“I am very happy about it and really looking forward competing in Indian Wells, Miami and Charleston.”
