Live streaming of Novak Djokovic’s court hearing briefly interrupted by porn
There were always going to be technical challenges with the live streaming of Novak Djokovic’s court hearing against his cancelled Australian visa, but no one quite expected to see porn on their screens.
World No 1 Djokovic’s fight against his deportation from the country following the Australian Border Force’s decision to revoke his visa upon arrival started in Melbourne’s Federal Circuit Court at 10am local time.

The start of the live streaming on Microsoft Teams was initially delayed by 45 minutes due to technical difficulties as too many people tried to log in.
And while people were waiting for the problem to be fixed, someone decided to hijack the feed and share porn with journalist Zac Crellin tweeting: “someone has taken over the court’s microsoft teams broadcast for the novak djokovic hearing and is displaying porn”

And that was not the end of the chaos as thousands of people joined the live stream and dodgy links were shared, loud music was played and memes were doing the rounds.
update: the official link for the Novak Djokovic hearing is overloaded. but 20,000 people around the world are able to tune in to three British podcasters’ running commentary of the hearing. sharing this footage in Australia is contempt of court, so I’ve pixellated it too pic.twitter.com/ViQI5F17mK

The hearing was adjourned until the afternoon while Djokovic was allowed to leave the detention hotel and join his lawyer at a different premise. However, the judge has ordered him to return to the hotel after Monday’s hearing.
