Carlos Alcaraz has won his last 13 Indian Wells matches.

Carlos Alcaraz notched up his 13th straight victory at Indian Wells, making it one of his statistically best tournaments.

The Spaniard began his quest for a third-straight title in California with a straight-set victory over Quentin Halys as the 21-year-old continued his dominance at the venue.

But how does that compare to other tournaments? Here’s Alcaraz’s best win streaks at tournaments.

7.= Cincinnati Open – 4

Having made it to the quarter finals in 2022, Alcaraz impressed to reach the final of the Cincinnati Open in 2023 but came up against number two seed Novak Djokovic.

In a close-run game, the freshly minted Wimbledon champion Alcaraz took the Serbian to a tie break in all three sets, winning the first but losing the next two.

However, he failed to repeat the feat last year, suffering a surprise to defeat to number 46 seed Gaël Monfils.

7.= Australian Open – 4

The Australian Open remains an elusive prize for Alcaraz with it being the sole Slam that he has failed to reach the semi-final of.

His best run is four matches, a tally he has reached on two occasions, including in this year’s tournament, but both times he has fallen at the quarter final hurdle.

Alcaraz also made it four wins in a row in his first Australian Open, winning three qualifiers and a first round match in 2021 before losing to Mikael Ymer.

6. French Open – 7

Aside from a qualifying defeat in 2020, Roland Garros has often been a happy hunting ground for Alcaraz.

He made it to the round of 32 in 2021 before reaching the quarters the following season but he went one better in 2023, reaching the semi final before losing to Djokovic.

However, in 2024, he got his hands on his third Grand Slam, beating Tsitsipas, Sinner and Zverev on his route to glory.

The run was seven matches strong meaning Alcaraz should add to that figure in Paris later this year.

5. Miami Open – 10

Into the double digits we go and we start with the Miami Open where Alcaraz recorded 10 straight victories from 2022 to 2023.

The run began with a win against Hungarian Marton Fucsovics to start a tournament that saw Alcaraz beat Casper Rudd in the final.

Heading into 2024 and Alcaraz did not drop a set until he was drawn against Sinner in the semi-final.

Winning the first set via tie break, Alcaraz lost the next two 4-6, 2-6 to end his winning run.

4. US Open – 12

The US Open will always be a special venue for Alcaraz with it being his first Slam title but it has also proven to be one of his best tournaments with a win rate of 85%.

His victory in 2022 followed by a semi-final appearance in 2023 saw him string 12 consecutive victories together.

Any hope of producing a similar run straight after were put to bed when he suffered a surprise defeat to Botic van de Zandschulp in the second round last year.

3. Indian Wells – 13*

Following Djokovic’s first round-defeat, Alcaraz became the clear bookies’ favourite to complete a historic treble at this year’s Indian Wells.

Winner in 2023 and 2024, Alcaraz could match a feat achieved only by Djokovic and Roger Federer with three successive titles at the California court.

He has already made his way past Quentin Halys and will play No 27 seed Denis Shapovalov in the next round.

1.= Madrid Open – 14

Alcaraz certainly enjoys some home comforts when he heads for his native Spain and the Madrid Open.

Entering for the first time in 2021, Alcaraz went on to win the next two editions of the tournament before losing in the quarter final to Andrey Rublev last year.

During his run, Alcaraz recorded 14 straight victories, the most he has managed during an ATP Masters 1000 event.

1.= Wimbledon – 14*

Alongside his home success, one of Alcaraz’s most dormant venues in Wimbledon.

Currently on a win streak of 14, the Spaniard has not lost since his round of 16 defeat to Jannik Sinner in the 2022 tournament.

Since then, Alcaraz has added two Wimbledon titles to his record, twice defeating Djokovic including a 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 thrashing last year.

But despite Alcaraz’s success, his current win streak is still some way short of the record at the All England Club. He needs another six wins just to break the top six, where he would tie with countryman Rafa Nadal, but the current record is shared by two men.

Both Roger Federer and Bjorn Borg racked up an incredible 41 wins in a row at the venue with both winning Wimbledon five times in a row.
