Nick Kyrgios brutally slams Jannik Sinner in fresh doping attack as he answers Novak Djokovic question

Nick Kyrgios has once again mocked Jannik Sinner over the world No 1’s failed doping tests, while he also addressed the possibility of playing doubles with Novak Djokovic.
In August, the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) announced Sinner had avoided a ban for twice testing positive for a banned substance in March after an independent tribunal ruled he was not to blame.
The Italian star failed drug tests due to the presence of low levels of clostebol, an anabolic steroid, on March 10 and 18 — during and after the Indian Wells Masters.
The tribunal accepted Sinner’s explanation that the substance had entered his body when receiving a massage from his physio, who had used a spray containing the steroid to treat a cut on their finger.
Kyrgios has been the highest profile and most outspoken critic of the handling of Sinner’s case and has asserted that he does not believe the 23-year-old’s explanation.
“Ridiculous,” the 2022 Wimbledon finalist wrote on his X account after the news emerged. “Whether it was accidental or planned.
“You get tested twice with a banned (steroid) substance… you should be gone for two years. Your performance was enhanced. Massage cream…. yeah nice.”

It was revealed last week that the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) had appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), seeking to impose a ban of up to two years on Sinner.
In reply to a tweet sharing information about the appeal last week, Kyrgios wrote: “Why’s he (Sinner) still playing.”
The Australian then aimed another dig at Sinner during a Q&A with fans on his Instagram account.
“Doubles with Sinner? Pls,” one user asked Kyrgios.
In a post on his Instagram story, the 29-year-old responded: “I only play with CLEAN players.”
Kyrgios, who is expected to make his long-awaited comeback at the 2025 Australian Open, was also asked about the possibility of playing doubles with Djokovic next year.
The former world No 13 expressed that he would be open to joining forces with the great Serb, but revealed his priority is partnering Thanasi Kokkinakis.
“Kokk will get first priority but I’m down,” Kyrgios wrote.
Kyrgios and Kokkinakis, who are close friends, won the men’s doubles title together at the 2022 Australian Open.
