Nick Kyrgios and Coco Gauff agree to play mixed doubles at Australian Open

Tennis fans could be in for a treat at the start of 2022, after Nick Kyrgios and Coco Gauff made a Twitter agreement to play mixed doubles together at the Australian Open.
Two of the most famous faces in the sport could be lining up in tandem in Melbourne, with Gauff confirming she is a big fan of colourful Aussie Kyrgios.
“On court, he is a super fun, cool guy and off-court he is super kind,” said Gauff. “He probably doesn’t know this, but I first hit with him when I was 12 at the Miami Open.”

Kyrgios was quick to reach out to Gauff and propose a high profile partnership at the Australian Open, with the American teenager happy to accept the proposal.
