Nick Kyrgios fined nearly £100k, could face further fine/and or suspension

Nick Kyrgios will have to fork out $113,000 (about £93,000) for his expletive-laden outburst against the chair umpire at the Cincinnati Masters.
The controversial Australian suffered second-round defeat at the hands of Karen Khachanov from Russia, but the match was more remembered for his rant at umpire Fergus Murphy.
“The worst f***ing ref ever, the worst ref in the game,” Kyrgios told Murphy, whom he also clashed with at the Citi Open earlier this month and Queen’s Club in June. “The worst, hands down. Every time I play he’s doing some stupid sh*t, every time.”
At the end of the match he told Murphy “You’re a f***ing tool bro,” and left the court without shaking his hand.
He also broke two rackets during his tirade and the ATP has come down hard on him.
The fines included five charges of unsportsmanlike conduct totalling $85,000 (about £70,000), $20,000 (£17,000) for verbal abuse, $5,000 (£4,000) for audible obscenity and $3,000 (£2,000) for leaving the court.

That might not be the end of it for Kyrgios, who won the Acapulco International in March and in Washington a fortnight ago.
“In addition to the on-site fines, the ATP is looking further into what happened during and immediately after the match to see if additional action is warranted,” a statement read.
“That could result in an additional fine and/or suspension.”
