Nick Kyrgios takes aim at Grant Williams and Sam Smith in social media rants

Nick Kyrgios mercilessly roasted Boston Celtics power forward Grant Williams as the NBA franchise slumped to a third straight defeat.
Kyrgios is almost as handy on the basketball court as he is at his chosen profession and he is an avid follower of the NBA and in particular the famous Boston franchise.
Williams missed crucial Free Throws which would have won the game for the Celtics.

Kyrgios has made it apparent that he is not a fan of Grant Williams as he trashed him on Twitter and called out his fans.
The Celtics failed to agree terms with Williams on a contract extension despite reportedly being keen on keeping him on their roster.
If it were up to Kyrgios, it seems he would let Batman go.
He tweeted: “How is Grant Williams still on this roster.”
Barstool Sports’ Celtics reporter Dan Greenberg seemed to be in agreement with Kyrgios despite previously questioning the tennis star about his Twitter campaign against Williams.
Kyrgios isn’t alone in slamming the allround performance of a man once considered a future face of the franchise, who now finds himself on the outs.
To make matters worse for Williams he was caught trashtalking Cavaliers players before missing the crucial Free Throws with time almost up. A worn down Celtics lost in overtime.

Kyrgios didn’t take the defeat well and in his assessment, the loss has to sit on the shoulders of Williams alone.
Williams wasn’t the only recent target of Kyrgios criticism on social media although he said his piece on pop star Sam Smith in a far more terse and dismissive manner.
Kyrgios derided Smith after watching a video of them being interviewed by Ronan Keating on the One Show.
Keating asked Smith: ‘You’re a big fan of fishing?’
‘I do love fishing, yes. Yeah, I’d love to be a fisherthem!’ Smith retorted.
‘What, like a fly fisherman?’ Keating quizzed.
‘I’d be any type of fisherthem,’ Smith gently corrected him.
Kyrgios then waded into the discussion by sharing the video to his Instagram stories.
He captioned the post: “This is so cringe bro I can’t.”
Kyrgios is yet to play a match on the ATP Tour this year having sustained an injury playing in an exhibition event in the UAE.
He underwent surgery on his knee in January and has been recovering in his hometown of Canberra.
