Nick Kyrgios wants to get ‘some banter going’ after Andy Murray’s yard session ‘doesn’t end well’

Andy Murray was back hitting forehands and backhands, but unfortunately for him he was still a little bit rusty, much to Nick Kyrgios’ amusement.

With tennis on an enforced break since early March, most professional tennis players around the globe have been unable to practise on a court in two months.

A few, though, opted to play tennis in their backyards, others were seen playing roof tennis while some decided not to hit any ball in anger.

Murray fell into the latter category, but he finally decided it was time to hit a few proper shots and posted the video on Instagram, but it didn’t go according to plan.

“Hit some forehands and backhands for the first time in 7 weeks today… it didn’t end well…” he wrote.

Of course, his good friend Kyrgios chimed in as the Australian wants to get some “banter going” after Murray’s poor effort.

“Hahahahahahahaha – Muzz Instagram live? Let’s get some banter going. Let’s set this up,” Kyrgios replied.
