“We went toe-to-toe”: Novak Djokovic earns huge win over Roger Federer
Novak Djokovic forced Roger Federer to put his 100th title on hold by winning their semi-final clash at the Paris Masters.
In an epic contest, Djokovic, who will take the world number one sport on Monday, took his winning streak to 22 matches with a 7-6 5-7 7-6 success.
Djokovic will now face Karen Khachanov in Sunday’s final after the Russian blew Dominic Thiem away in the other semi.
the 22-year old needed just 70 minutes to claim a thunderous 6-4 6-1 victory.

“It was a spectacular match and one of the best of my career against him,” Djokovic said of his win over Federer.
“We went toe-to-toe.”
On his upcoming clash with Khachanov, he added: “He’s been playing some sensational tennis.
“He’s striking the ball beautifully. I’ve got to use my experience and hopefully I can recover before then.”
