Emma Raducanu confirms first sponsorship deal and plenty more will follow

The sponsorship opportunities are rolling in for Emma Raducanu after her stunning US Open win and she has already confirmed her first big endorsement.
Marketing experts believe 18-year-old Brit Raducanu could become the most sought-after athlete in world sport after she created tennis history by becoming the first qualifier to win a major title in tennis history.
The $2.5million cheque Raducanu was handed for her US Open win is certain to be dwarfed by the riches that will now follow for her on and off the court, with jewellers Tiffany and Co confirming they have agreed a deal with the new queen of the court.
“Very excited to join the iconic Tiffany and Co family as a House Ambassador,” wrote Racucanu on Instagram. “Being able to wear these special jewellery pieces over the past few weeks has been an honour!”
Raducanu has also been linked with a deal to work with luxury sports car giant Aston Martin, with CSM’s director of global talent business, Tim Lopez, predicting she could become rich very quickly.
“From a financial perspective she can’t lose and from a career prospect, in terms of how the future looks, she really is at the tip of the iceberg at this point in terms of her earning potential,” Lopez told Sky News.
“If you consider that she has already achieved what no other British female has achieved since Virginia Wade, she has done more than enough to catapult herself into the fame and the mind of the UK and I would argue actually a more global audience.
“So the stage is set for her to really capitalise from a financial perspective and playing her cards right she should continue to be successful on the court.”
Raducanu’s next match is expected to come at the Indian Wells Masters event in early October.
