Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal to headline Australia bushfire charity match

Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal will take part in an exhibition match to raise money for bushfire relief efforts in Australia.
The Rally for Relief event will take place at Rod Laver Arena at Melbourne Park on January 15, just a few days before the start of the 2020 Australian Open.
Devastating fires have been burning across eastern Australia since September and at least 25 people have lost their lives and nearly 2,000 homes have been destroyed while millions of animals have been killed.
The world of tennis has been eager to come to the party to raise funds and Tennis Australia has confirmed that several superstars will take part in the charity match.
“For a period of about two-and-a-half hours we’re going to be showcasing the game, but also coming together as a community to play our part in the relief effort,” Australian Open tournament organiser Craig Tiley said.
Federer, Williams and Nadal will be the headline acts while Stefanos Tsitsipas, Nick Kyrgios, Naomi Osaka and Caroline Wozniaki have also signed up.
Kyrios himself plans to donate A$200 (£106) for each ace he serves during tennis events held in Australia in January to help those affected by the bushfires.
So far he has hit more than 50 aces.
Organisers of the ATP Cup have also announced that each ace served across the tournament will deliver $100 to the Australian Red Cross bushfire disaster relief and recovery efforts.
