Roger Federer is once again rubbing shoulders with A-list celebrities in a new film for Switzerland Tourism.

This time he will be taking a train ride around Switzerland with South African comedian and former Daily Show host Trevor Noah.

The film sets out to showcase the attractions of Switzerland while Noah and Federer will pair up again having previously teamed up with his great rival Rafael Nadal to take on this Swiss star at The Match in Africa.

Noah’s father is Swiss, while Federer’s mother is South African creating a unique dynamic between the two.

Both men shared the poster for the new film as a teaser, with Trevor Noah writing: “A little train adventure with my favourite travel buddy Roger Federer. Stay tuned: Our ride of a lifetime movie hits the screens on March 30th on YouTube.”

Federer added: “Ready for this, Trevor Noah? Coming very soon.”

He has always been an unofficial ambassador for Switzerland but Federer began a formal association with Switzerland Tourism in 2021.

“I have always felt, whenever I step on the court, I am representing Switzerland. Whenever it says my name, there is a Swiss flag next to it,” Federer said.

“I have been very proud to do that for the first 22 years I have been on tour, and it will always be like that. To join forces with ST now is a logical step for me.”

Federer said that he hopes to show how awe-inspiring Swiss nature and outdoor life can be.

“I have been all over the world,” says Federer.

“My favorite place has always remained Switzerland. It’s the country I miss the most, when I’m traveling.”

He pledged that the proceeds he received from Tourism Switzerland would go towards charitable projects.

“For me also important was that all the money you do pay me, I give it on for a good cause, for charity,” Federer said according to Tennis.com.

“We gonna be building playgrounds here in Switzerland. For me that was an important aspect as well.”

The My Switzerland website regularly runs a feature called Roger’s choice which highlights potential tourist attractions across the country with a focus on natural beauty.
