End of the road for the Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa love story?

It has been one of the big talking points in tennis over the last few, but it seems the love story between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa has come to an end.
Tsitsipas and Badosa became social media sensations when they confirmed their romance, with an Instagram account set up to capture images of their love story.
Regular photos were posted of the couple enjoying holidays together away from the court, with world No 5 Tsitsipas confirming his relationship with former world No 2 Badosa was boosting his morale on and off the court.
“I changed my life because Paula Badosa brought a bright light into it, and I did the same for her,” he said a few weeks ago.
“I’ll be completely honest, I’ve never been more excited about the future, both in my private life and in my professional life. I really want to make the most of it.
“Her presence in my life helps me a lot. She has changed my approach to the game in a way that I never expected.”
Badosa was also very positive about her relationship with the Greek tennis hero, as she offered up these comments a few weeks ago.

“I want to be with him as long as he wants,” she said.
“We have an incredible relationship, first of all, we are best friends and I think that is very important.
“I play tennis myself, so I understand the moments and the frustration it can have, the pressure. I just want him to know that I’m here for him. In the weeks when I won’t be able to play, like now, I’ll be with him.
“I will be honest. He’s someone I’ve always followed because I really liked his style of play, but I also liked his appearance because he’s a very charming man.
“Also, when I listened to his interviews I felt that he is different,” she added. “But we never spoke. When we finally started talking, I discovered this amazing man, with an amazing soul.
“At first, I didn’t expect this, but when I got to know him better I was really surprised and now I’m very happy that we are together.”

It seemed as if this was a love story destined to last, but rumours are now swirling that the couple are no longer together after their joint Instagram account had all images cleared from it.
Tsitsipas and Badosa also appear to have deleted images on their joint Instagram account and their personal accounts also seem to have been amended to remove images of the couple together.
Badosa also posted images of her on what she jokingly described as a ‘date’ with world No 1 Aryna Sabalenka, with the amendments to their respective Instagram accounts fuelling social media rumours that this love story may have hit the rocks.
Tsitsipas and Badosa have yet to make any official comment on the rumours, but there will be a lot of tennis fans disappointed if this enhancing off-court romance is no more.
