Stefanos Tsitsipas shares sweet confession as he pines for Paula Badosa
Recently, Stefanos Tsitsipas expressed how much he misses Paula Badosa now that he is apart from his new love.
When Badosa was seen in the crowd watching one of Tsitsipas’ matches at the 2023 French Open, romantic rumours about the two athletes started to circulate.
Since announcing their relationship, the couple has frequently and openly shown their love for one another on social media. They have exchanged heartfelt notes, added photographs to their Spotify profiles as a pair, and set up a combined Instagram account called “Tsitsidosa.”
While taking part in the Los Cabos Open in Mexico, Stefanos Tsitsipas spoke with ESTO.
The Greek No 1 admitted that he misses Paula Badosa more than ever now that they are apart for the first time in a very long time.
“I miss her a lot and I talk to her about it every day. We have a great connection between us. It’s the first time in a long time that we’re not together. Now I realize how much I miss her and how much she misses me too,” Tsitsipas said.
Due to their busy tennis schedules, Tsitsipas and Badosa are aware that this will happen regularly, and they are “mentally prepared” for it according to the Greek star.
“This is how reality will be if we continue together. This is going to be something frequent and something that we will have to normalize in our lives. I’m getting used to it. There will be more days like this and we are ready. We are mentally prepared for that,” Stefanos Tsitsipas said.
Stefanos Tsitsipas said, “I changed my life because Paula Badosa brought a bright light into it, and I did the same for her.” Also he is “excited” about their future together and isn’t afraid to let everyone know.
“I’ll be completely honest, I’ve never been more excited about the future, both in my private life and in my professional life. I really want to make the most of it,” Tsitsipas said.
Tsitsipas said that Badosa has inspired him to be a better person.
“Paula inspires me to be the best version of myself, when I am surrounded by people like her she helps me a lot in a positive way, she is the kind of people who guide me,” Tsitsipas also said.
“Whether you win or lose. The most important thing, in my opinion, is whether you become a better and more complete person through it. The victories and defeats will always be there.”
