Team USA at Paris 2024: The 11 tennis players in Olympic Games action
Tennis promises to be a must-watch event at the Olympic Games, and few nations can match the strength and depth of Team USA.
Ahead of Paris 2024, we take you through every member of the Olympic team.
Coco Gauff
Three years ago, a heartbroken Gauff was forced to miss the delayed Tokyo 2020 Games after a positive COVID test.
Now, she heads into Paris 2024 as one of America’s biggest stars and will lead her nation alongside Lebron James at the opening ceremony on Friday.
Gauff is arguably America’s best hope for a tennis medal, with the 20-year-old second seed in the women’s singles draw.
The US Open champion is also the top seed in the women’s doubles event, and third seed in the mixed event.
Jessica Pegula
The Olympics should provide some positive respite for world No 6 Pegula, who has had an up-and-down 2024 season.
Competing at her second Olympic Games, Pegula will be the fifth seed in the women’s singles, looking to better her round one loss from Tokyo.
The 30-year-old then partners up with Gauff in the doubles, the pair among the favourites for gold.
Danielle Collins
In her final year on tour, Collins will get a taste of Olympic action at Roland Garros.
The 30-year-old has been one of the biggest stories of 2024 and will undoubtedly be a dark horse in the women’s draw, starting her campaign against Laura Siegemund.
The Miami and Charleston Open winner will also be in the women’s doubles draw at Roland Garros.
Emma Navarro
One of the biggest breakout stars of 2024, Navarro’s surge to the top 15 of the WTA Rankings has been rewarded with a spot at her maiden Olympic Games.
The 23-year-old has been in career-best form, winning her first WTA title in Hobart, round four at the French Open, and the Wimbledon quarter-final.
Navarro is the 11th seed in the women’s singles draw.
Desirae Krawczyk
A winner of four Grand Slam mixed doubles majors and former women’s doubles Slam finalist, Krawczyk has consistently been one of the best doubles stars in the world in recent years.
She and Collins reached the Wimbledon semi-final together previously, and the pair will be the fourth seeds in the Paris draw, among the leading contenders for gold.
It is also her Olympic debut.
Taylor Fritz
US No 1 and world No 11 Fritz will lead American hopes in the men’s singles event in Paris after a career-best season.
Fritz has won titles in Delray Beach and Eastbourne this year and has two Grand Slam quarter-finals to his name in 2024, at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
The 26-year-old is playing singles, mixed doubles with Gauff, and men’s doubles with Tommy Paul.

Tommy Paul
Much like his doubles partner, Paul will be making his Olympic debut in Paris – and comes in off playing some of the best tennis of his career.
The US No 2 won the biggest title of his career at Queen’s and reached the Wimbledon quarter-final in his most recent tournament, also winning the Dallas Open in February.
Paul is the ninth seed in the singles draw, and the third seed alongside Fritz in the doubles.
Marcos Giron
Aged 31, Giron will be competing in the Olympics for the second time after reaching round two in Tokyo, and is a player no one will want to face.
He has just claimed the first singles title of his career in Newport and will be riding a wave of confidence returning to the European clay.
Rajeev Ram
Of the 11 players in the team, only Ram has medalled at the Olympics previously, winning mixed doubles silver alongside Venus Williams at Rio 2016.
It will be a third Olympics appearance for the doubles world No 1, who will be partnered with Austin Krajicek in Paris.
The 40-year-old will be looking to better his previous men’s doubles showings, losing in round two in both Rio and Tokyo.
Austin Krajicek
Another former doubles No 1, Krajicek will be looking to medal after a heartbreaking fourth-place finish at Tokyo 2020.
The American and partner Ram will be the fourth seeds in the men’s doubles draw, competing at the venue where he won his sole Slam in 2023.
Chris Eubanks
After a hugely challenging season, Eubanks sparked into life a little in Newport – and will be hoping to use that momentum to his advantage in Paris.
The 28-year-old is another in men’s singles action and is making his Games debut.
