Tennis Today: Andy Murray’s artwork, Roger Federer’s Rolex collection, Maria Sharapova’s workout

Andy Murray

In Tennis Today, we get a snippet of Andy Murray’s artwork, we “cry with envy” over Roger Federer’s Rolex collection and we get sweaty with Maria Sharapova.

What’s on the site
In case you missed Kevin Palmer’s latest exclusive, Judy Murray has called for changes to be made to the way competitive junior tennis is structured in the UK.

Staying with the Britain’s first family of tennis, Andy Murray’s 2020 preparations have suffered a slight setback, but don’t worry, it won’t keep him out of the Australian Open.

Training at the Rafa Nadal Academy has plenty of advantages, just ask Jaume Munar.

What’s in the news
The inaugural Davis Cup Finals received a lot of criticism, but SportBusiness reports that the International Tennis Federation President David Haggerty and Kosmos “believe there is huge grounds for optimism going forward”.

Organisers have promised to make changes and Haggerty told SportBusiness: “There were some things based on scheduling that that we can learn from for next year and that is where our focus will be.

“Do we add a fourth court to be able to spread the matches out? Do we add a couple of days [to the schedule]? Do we start the days earlier as we have two sessions each day?”

It’s another slow day in the world of tennis so here is a piece on Roger Federer’s Rolex watches and GQ Middle East says the Swiss great has a collection that has them “crying out in envy”.

From the Day-Date II in an Everose gold edition (price $42,442) to the Rolex Sky-Dweller, its all part of his collection.

If you hadn’t watched Andy Murray: Resurfacing yet, here is a little snippet as his “artwork” features.
