The 9 men with the most wins on the ATP Tour in 2024 as Jannik Sinner hits the front

Alexander Zverev, Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz feature on list for most match wins

Alexander Zverev was the first player to win 50 ATP Tour matches during the 2024 tennis season, but Jannik Sinner has drawn level with him for most wins this campaign while the Italian also has the best win-loss record.

Zverev achieved the 50-match win milestone in mid-August before Sinner hit the half-century mark at the US Open.

The likes of Casper Ruud, Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz are also likely to hit 50 wins before the year is out, but one player who is touch and go is Novak Djokovic.

The 24-time Grand Slam winner has a 32-8 record, but that can be attributed to the fact that he has played very little tennis this year.

The 9 men with the most wins on the ATP Tour in 2024:

9. Tommy Paul – 39-16

Statistically, Tommy Paul is enjoying his best season as he has a 71% win ratio. The American should comfortably beat last year’s record of 41–28 as there are still several tournaments remaining this year.

Paul has already won two titles this year, the Dallas Open in February and the Queen’s Club Championship in June, to take his career tally to three while he also reached the semi-finals at the Indian Wells Open and Italian Open.

8. Hubert Hurkacz – 40-18

Big-serving Pole Hurkacz is yet to win 50 or more matches in a season with his 2023 campaign of 45–24 his best.

One stat that Hurkacz is leading is the ace count as he has served 600-plus aces with Zverev next best on 543.

The Pole, though, has struggled with injury in recent months and that could impact his hopes of playing at the season-ending ATP Finals.

7. Alex de Minaur – 40-13

Alex de Minaur currently sits on a 75% win record and he will no doubt feel he would have had a few more wins under his belt had it not been for injury.

The Australian, who titles at Rosmalen and Acupalco, was forced to withdraw from his Wimbledon semi-final match due to injury and also missed the Canadian and Cincinnati Masters 1000 tournaments.

The 2022 season is his best to date for wins as he was 47–25.

6. Daniil Medvedev – 41-16

Daniil Medvedev is yet to win a title in 2024, but he has finished runner-up at two big events as he was a finalist at the Australian Open and the Indian Wells Open.

In fact, most of his best runs have come at the majors as he also reached the semi-final at Wimbledon and the quarter-final at the US Open.

His win record for the year is 72% well below the 79% from 2023 and his best-ever season in 2021 when he had a 83% win-loss record.

5. Carlos Alcaraz – 43-9

There is no doubt Carlos Alcaraz will move up a couple of spots before the season comes to a conclusion. Last year he finished with a 65–12 win-loss record, winning six titles.

Although he has won “only” three tournaments this year, they were big ones as he lifted trophies at Indian Wells, Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

4. Taylor Fritz – 45-19

Taylor Fritz is on course to match or better his 2023 record as he finished last year 54–23 win-loss ratio.

The American has won the Delray Beach Open and the Eastbourne International while he also enjoyed quarter-final runs at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.

However, his most memorable moment of the year came at the US Open when he reached his maiden Grand Slam final, losing against Sinner in straight sets.

3. Casper Ruud – 48-17

Some will be surprised that Casper Ruud features so highly as he has enjoyed mixed results at the Grand Slams. He reached the semi-final at Roland Garros, but lost early in Melbourne and at Wimbledon.

The Norwegian, though, won the Barcelona Open and Geneva Open, and finished runner-up at the Monte Carlo Masters, Mexican Open and Los Cabos Open.

However, his form has dropped off recently as he has lost early in Cincinnati, the US Open and the Japan Open.

=1. Alexander Zverev – 57-18

Zverev has had a good follow-up season after regaining his form late last year although he has won only one trophy, the Italian Open.

The German, though, finished runner-up to Alcaraz at Roland Garros and also reached the final of the Hamburg Open while he also enjoyed deep runs at the Australian Open and Miami Open.

He will no doubt be looking to break his personal record of 60 match wins in 2018 when he finished the year 60–19 with a 76% win rate. Although the 2021 season was his best year in terms of win rate as he was at 80% with a 59–15 record.

=1. Jannik Sinner – 57-5

Jannik Sinner has a 91% win-loss record so far this year and he tops several leaderboards for the 2024 campaign as he has won the most titles (six) and is currently at No 1 in the ATP Rankings.

His titles have come at the Australian Open, Rotterdam Open, Miami Open, Halle Open, Cincinnati Open and US Open.

The Italian has reached at least the quarter-final in every single tournament he has featured in this year and his best tally of 64–15 from 2023 is in his sights.
