‘This tennis world’s p*****g me off, seriously,’ says Nick Kyrgios after Alexander Zverev party video
Nick Kyrgios has hit out at Alexander Zverev for partying and being “selfish” while he was supposed to self-isolate following the controversial Adria Tour.
Zverev took part in world No 1 Novak Djokovic’s Balkans charity tournament despite the coronavirus pandemic, but the event was cancelled last week after Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Victor Troicki all tested positive for Covid-19.
The wives of Djokovic and Troicki as well as a couple of non-playing staff members, including Djokovic’s coach Goran Ivanisevic, also returned positive tests.
World No 7 Zverev tested negative and issued an apology via social media and promised to self-isolate.
However, a video emerged over the weekend showing the German partying before it was later deleted.

Australian Kyrgios was quite critical of the Adria Tour after it emerged players tested positive and he didn’t hold back in his latest criticism during an Instragram Story.
“So I wake up and I see more controversial things happening around the world, but one thing that stuck out for me was seeing Sasha Zverev, again man, again. How selfish can you be? How selfish can you be?

“If you have the audacity to put out a tweet that you made your management f—ing write on your behalf saying you’re going to self-isolate for 14-days, and apologising to the general public for putting their health at risk – at least have the f—ing audacity to stay inside for 14 days. My god.
“This tennis world’s pissing me off, seriously. How selfish can you all get?”
