WATCH: Andy Murray and Iga Swiatek finally meet on court at Indian Wells
It was a case of ask and you shall receive, at least part of it, for Iga Swiatek as she finally met up with Andy Murray at the BNP Paribas Open.
Following her second-round win in Indian Wells, former Roland Garros winner Swiatek named three-time Grand Slam winner Murray as her dream hitting partner during an interview with Tennis Channel.

It was not the first time that the Pole had mentioned that she would like to play with the former world No 1 as she also dropped a hint at this year’s French Open.
And her wish was partially granted in the California desert on Saturday as she met up with Murray, but the pair just had a chat and shared some jokes as they didn’t play any tennis.

Both will be back in action in Indian Wells on Sunday evening as Murray will face 30th seed Carlos Alcaraz in the third round while Swiatek will be up against Veronika Kudermetova.
