Comedian Josh Berry has delighted tennis fans with his impersonations of the big four.

Berry was spot on with the patented Roger Federer humble brag in his impersonation of the Swiss superstar.

The LTA caught up with Berry at the recent Davis Cup Group Stage and asked him to answer questions as the big four and other tennis stars.

“Look, I’d have to say it’s definitely me,” Berry said while impersonating Federer answering the question of who is the GOAT.

“You know, there are a lot of great guys who played tennis. You know, Novak and Rafa and everything, but everyone likes me more than them. And I look better than them on the court. And, you know, I think they would agree with that. Everyone says it. So I would very graciously.”

Berry also played up Novak Djokovic’s incredible longevity claiming in character that he would never retire.

“Well, my friend, I think that me slowing down, it will never happen. But no, seriously. I will never retire. I will keep playing tennis. The vegan diet means that I have the internal organs of a 14-year-old, so I will keep it there,” Berry said.

“And even when the earth is so terrible because of climate changes, I will make sure that we go to the other planets and I will win tennis there and into the universe… and I will be the best player in all of the galaxy,” he added.

Berry also did an uncanny impression of both the Murray brothers and gave a convincing portrayal of Rafael Nadal at a presser in over the top fashion.

Djokovic himself had made a similar joke a few weeks earlier although he only claimed he was planning to play for 23 or 24 more years.

The Serbian jested in the wake of his US Open win and said that tennis was stuck with him for a long time.

“I think judging by the attendance of people in all slams and, you know, the kind of a hype that goes around Grand Slams, tennis is still in a good place,” Novak Djokovic himself said.

“You know, players come and go. It will be the same kind of destiny for me.

“Eventually one day I will leave tennis in about 23, 24 years. And there is going to be new young players coming up. Until then, I guess you’ll see me a bit more.”
