Daniil Medvedev’s daughter Alisa marked her first birthday on Saturday 14 October 2023 with an adorable party.

Medvedev may have suffered elimination from the Shanghai Masters earlier this week but at least it afforded him some time to spend with his daughter.

A social media user shared videos of the party shared by Medvedev and his wife Daria.

Little Alisa was pictured looking obsessed with the little fox on her cake.

Much to the delight of the assembled friends and family, Daniil Medvedev and his wife assisted their daughter in blowing out the lone candle.

Medvedev was then seen dancing with his daughter is a tender moment.

Medvedev says that becoming a father made him the happiest he has ever been.

Medvedev and wife Darya welcomed their first child into the world in October 2022, and he says he has been floating since.

Darya has been able to join her husband on tour with the baby, which surprisingly hasn’t cost the new parents too much sleep.

Fatherhood appears to suit Medvedev down to the ground as he recently admitted that he could talk about it for hours.

“I’m a really happy person in my life right now with only good emotion. The experience is amazing. That’s what many, many people told me: that I can only understand this when I’ll have a baby. And now, I can completely understand. So this is a lot of fun,” said Daniil Medvedev.

The joy just lights up his face as he speaks about his daughter and his wife.

“I’m really happy about it and grateful to my wife,” said Medvedev.

“I can talk about this for hours and hours.”

Medvedev says that Alisa has been the sweetest baby suprising the new parents with how well she sleeps.

“First of all our baby is really, really calm, so she sleeps a lot. She sleeps like an adult, so we can sleep well. If she would be not like this, I don’t think it would be possible to travel with her. So, yeah, she’s such a sweet kid, so it didn’t change much,” Medvedev said.

Medvedev has hinted that he might take a leaf out of the big three’s book when it comes to the twilight of his career.

Medvedev could see a future where he just plays Grand Slams if he wanted to be able to spend more time with his wife and family.

He believes that workload management is the key to having a long career in tennis.
