WATCH: It’s a start, says Andy Murray as he starts playing tennis again
Here’s your feel-good story for Tuesday morning as Andy Murray has posted a video of himself on the tennis court with a racket in his hand. And yes, he is actually hitting some tennis balls in the video.
Weeks after announcing that he is to retire after this year’s Wimbledon as his hip injury was only getting worse, Murray underwent a hip resurfacing operation and then admitted he could well make a successful comeback and play for a few more years.
And the recovery from surgery is going well as he was first pictured hitting balls last week and then on Monday he posted an Instagram Story of himself in action.
Doesn’t this warm the cockles of your heart?
Andy!!
