WATCH: King Richard trailer starring Will Smith as Serena Williams says ‘this should be good’

Serena Williams is ready to grab the popcorn to watch King Richard, which stars Will Smith as her and Venus’ father and portrays how he raised “two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time”.
The movie is only set to be released in November, but a trailer has been released and it has garnered a lot of excitement on social media.
The film is based on the rise of Serena and Venus, who were coached by their father Richard, to tennis greats.
Smith plays Richard while Saniyya Sidney portrays Venus, and Demi Singleton is in the role of Serena. The role of Oracene “Brandi” Williams is played by Aunjanue Ellis.
According to Warner Bros, King Richard depicts an “undeterred father instrumental in raising two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time, who will end up changing the sport of tennis forever”.
Serena is certainly excited about the release of the film as she wrote on Instagram “this should be good”.
Sister Venus told The Kelly Clarkson Show in January that their father “changed the game”.
“It’s really about my dad and how he literally changed the game and how this started,” she said.
“He’s a revolutionary kind of person. I love him to death. And of course it features my mom who I love so much.”
