WATCH: Serena Williams shares Venus’ hilarious reaction to gender reveal troll

Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian, set out to troll his wife with a bogus gender reveal cake but wound up providing her with ammunition to have a go at sister Venus.
In a clip from the gender reveal conducted over the weekend, Serena cuts into a cake which had been set up as a colour-coded indicator of whether they were expecting a boy or a girl.
However, it turns out it was just an ordinary sponge cake which was yellow inside.
It seems that nobody was as confused as Venus, whose face told a the whole story.
Serena could not resist sharing an edited video lampooning the hilarious reaction.

The real reveal involved a massive drone display.
“I’m doing this because I want to troll her and Olympia into thinking that this is the reveal of Jelly Bean,” Reddit founder Ohanian said shortly before almost getting a face full of cake.
“She will cut into this cake, probably be disappointed, and hopefully, hopefully, appreciate my troll. But we’ll see. I don’t know if she’s gonna be a professional about it. She might see this cake come out, roll her eyes and say ‘This guy had one job and he gave me a goddamn cake gender reveal.’ But we’ll see. There’s a reveal after the reveal.”
After the little prank there was an epic drone display spelling out, ‘it’s a girl’ in lights.

“We are actually going to reveal Jelly Bean’s sex. The way we’re going to do it though is with a little style and some spectacular lights.”
The outdoor party featured dancing, a dunk tank, and “a whole lot of hugging as the hours whittled away,” with the theme of “Our Next Great Adventure” and was decorated with a rainbow-colored balloon arch.
At the Met Gala in May, Williams made public the news of her second pregnancy, writing on Instagram, “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.”
The announcement followed an essay that she had published for Vogue last year.
In the piece she discussed her heartfelt desire to expand her family. She admitted that when she started her tennis career, she “never thought about having kids.”
