In Tennis Today, has Roger Federer made a slight on Rafael Nadal? That, and the stars start arriving in New York.
What’s on the site
The BIG news in tennis right now is that the US Open draw has been made. For those unaware of protocol, that ramps up the excitement to basically Christmas Eve levels.
You can see the men’s draw HERE and the women’s draw HERE.
In other news, why are Gerard Pique and Roger Federer accused of shattering the soul of tennis? We have the answer.
Does Serena Williams have any plans to retire after the US Open? We have the answer to that too.
And we even have the answer to whether Andy Murray will ever be any good again. Well, Greg Rusedski does, anyway, or so he says.

What’s in the news
Roger Federer has, of course, completed the career slam, so he’s better placed than most to comment on which is the hardest to win.
So it’s got to be the French Open, right? After all, Rafael Nadal basically owns the trophy to the point that Federer has stopped bothering to even turn up.
SO that’s got to be the hardest to win, right? Maybe not…
“[The US Open] is maybe the toughest to win out there and everybody plays well on the hard courts, that makes it even more difficult and everybody’s back,” said Federer.
“I’ve come very close in recent years. Not the last two because I just haven’t been healthy but this year I feel really good about my chances.
