What’s in the news

The Hopman Cup isn’t quite up there with the Laver Cup and Olympics for doubles super-teams, but it’s always a fun event that seems to attract some very good names.

Roger Federer will team up with Belinda Bencic for Switzerland, while Serena Williams partners Frances Tiafoe for the USA.

The full line-up is:

Australia: Matt Ebden and Ashleigh Barty

France: Lucas Pouille and Alize Cornet

Germany: Alexander Zverev and Angelique Kerber

Britain: Cameron Norrie and Katie Boulter

Greece: Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari

Spain: David Ferrer and Garbine Muguruza

Switzerland: Roger Federer and Belinda Bencic
