Tennis Today: Andy Murray’s ‘wild’ Scotland Euro 2020 celebrations, Bernard Tomic dating OnlyFans star

In Tennis Today, Andy Murray just couldn’t contain himself after Scotland qualified for Euro 2020, Bernard Tomic has a new love interest while we get excited about the ATP Finals.
What’s on the site
Let’s start with our couple of exclusives with Tim Henman as the former British No 1 chats to Kevin Palmer about Roger Federer and Andy Murray’s latest comeback attempts.
We also have Henman voicing “some concerns” over how the Australian Open will proceed in January and whether or not Wimbledon 2021 will go ahead.
Then there is Ivan Lendl talking about Andy Murray with the American insisting the three-time Grand Slam winner still has the passion to play competitive tennis and has earned the right to receive wildcards into big tournaments.
And for your heartbreaking story of the week look no further than Sabine Lisicki as the former Wimbledon finalist has suffered another cruel injury. We look at her injury woes, serious illness and misfortune.
The ATP Finals is just around the corner and the draw for the season-ending tournament has been completed, but it wasn’t a kind draw for world No 2 Rafael Nadal.
And looking ahead after a coronavirus-frustrated year, Australian Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley admits the picture is not looking too rosy for the hard-court Grand Slam over the next few years.
What’s in the news
Tennis doyen Judy Murray is to lead Sky Sports’ new docuseries “Driving Force”. The 11×47 minutes docuseries explores the making of 10 legendary female athletes and the driving forces behind their success.
Some of those who will share their stories with Judy are Steph Houghton, Dina Asher-Smith, Natasha Jonas, Katie Taylor, Victoria Pendleton, Charlotte Dujardin, Rebecca Adlington, Dame Sarah Storey, Christine Ohuruogu and Dame Kelly Holmes.
In the Daily Mail, ATP Finals debutant Diego Schwartzman chats about being friends with football great Diego Maradonna and Juventus star Pablo Dybala.
Bernard Tomic is back in the news with Daily Star revealing the Australian is dating OnlyFans and Love Island star Vanessa Sierra.
It’s a few days old, but Metro.co.uk’s Claire Wilson has written a very good piece titled “How the world of tennis became a target for online abuse and death threats”.
“While online abuse is certainly rife in sport – especially for female athletes, with a BBC survey revealing earlier this year that a third of elite sports women had fallen victim to it – tennis players have ended up being specifically targeted,” writes Wilson.
