What’s in the news
It’s not great news for Boris Becker, but the tennis legend’s memorabilia auction will go ahead.
Antiquestradegazette.com reports “the 82-lot timed auction of medals, awards, trophies, rackets, watches and photographs will open to online bidders on June 24 and close on July 11”.
The BBC has done an excellent piece on how the 1999 Nato bombings of Belgrade shaped the career of Novak Djokovic.
Charlie Eccleshare has an exclusive interview with Belinda Bencic in the The Telegraph in which she admits “it’s always easier against players higher ranked than you” as you can go int those matches “without any pressure or expectation”.
Of course Roger Federer gets a mention and she reveals he is “he is so relaxed off the court”.

We missed this the other day, but it’s never too late to deliver a lesson in tennis mentality from Rafael Nadal.
