Another day, another Andy Murray fitness update. The former world and British number one seems to get asked the same questions every day, give the same answers every day, and we have to report it.

This time, though, it’s a major, major, major, MAJOR, update that will shock you to your very cor… no, only joking.

It’s the same answer. Again. He’s still pain-free and still planning a singles return as soon as possible.

Nick Kyrgios is another man who seems to be in the news over and over again for the same things, but he is dividing opinion even more so than ever at the moment. And, whisper it quietly, but he seems to be attracting more support than ever.

What’s in the news
It’s been quite clear that it’s been a tough few months for Naomi Osaka.

What we didn’t know, though, but do now, is that it has been ‘the worst time of her life’.

That’s what she has told her followers on social media.

“Whenever things go wrong I blame myself 100%, I have a tendency to shut down because I don’t want to burden anyone with my thoughts or problems,” Osaka wrote.

“Unexpectedly, (through) the worst months of my life have also had some of the best moments cause I’ve met new people.”

“That being said I can honestly reflect and say I probably haven’t had fun playing tennis since Australia and I’m finally coming to terms with that while relearning that fun feeling,” she added.

“I’ve learned a lot about myself and I feel like I grew so much as a person this past year(s) so I’m really excited what the future looks like on and off the court.

Osaka started the year winning the Australian Open and climbing to world number one, but her form has dropped markedly since.
