Tennis Today: LTA sets sights on London’s Copper Box while Rafael Nadal hits the fairways

In Tennis Today, the LTA has big plans for Great Britain’s Fed Cup team should they “deservedly” get a home draw in the play-offs while Rafael Nadal plays a bit of golf.

Now that Great Britain are in the draw for the Fed Cup play-offs, the LTA is targeting a home draw and the Daily Mail says they have earmarked London’s Copper Box in the Olympic Park.
The Telegraph adds that British captain Anne Keothavong believes they “deserve a home tie”.
Former British No 1 Laura Robson is ready to make her return to tennis following a long injury layoff. Daily Mail reports she will return at this week’s lower tier World Tennis Tour event in Shrewsbury.
