Tennis Today: Nick Kyrgios labelled a ‘foul-mouthed little brat’, Evans and Murray move on from ‘tit for tat’ spat

In Tennis Today, Australian sports presenter wants Nick Kyrgios to be banned while Dan Evans and Jamie Murray have kissed and made up after their public spat.
What’s on the site
We have had quite a bit of drama at the Miami Open so let’s start there.
We kick off with Angelique Kerber calling Indian Wells Open champion Bianca Andreescu “the biggest drama queen ever” after the Canadian beat her again.
World No 1 Naomi Osaka crashed out and she admitted afterwards that she was a little “immature” and “overestimated” herself during the match.
Oh and defending champion Sloane Stephens’ journey also came to an end.
In the men’s draw, Novak Djokovic avoided an early exit as he advanced despite losing focus.
Then there is Nick Kyrgios being Nick Kyrgios. Watch the highlights of his win over Dusan Lajovic.
Meanwhile, the LTA has launched a #TennisForBritain initiative that it hopes will promote the sport to a wider audience.
What’s in the news
Unsurprisingly, Kyrgios has caught the attention of folks Down Under and Channel Nine sports presenter Tony Jones says the “foul-mouthed little brat” should be banned for his latest outburst.
Dan Evans lost in the third round of the Miami Open, but before the match the Daily Mail had an interesting piece about how he is trying to catch Jamie Murray in the money race.
In case you forgot, the two had a spat earlier this year after Evans voiced his unhappiness over the amount of support that doubles players receive from the LTA.
Evans and Murray have spoken since and the former described it as “a bit of a bad episode” and also “tit for tat”.
In the latest Special report from The Telegraph, Simon Briggs says the “revamped World Tennis Tour has made the sport ‘more corrupt’ and left fringe players seething”. (Subscription)
In Forbes, Kurt Badenhausen wants to know if Coco Gauff “Is She The Future Of Women’s Tennis?”
The American is only 15-years-old, but she is expected to earn $1million from endorsements in 2019.
