“Djokovic can win the next five Grand Slams” is a pretty big call from Richard Krajicek.
The Dutchman told Omnisport – via Express Sport: “For me already he’s the title favourite, if he doesn’t get injured, for the US Open.”
He also feels Nadal can get to Roger Federer’s 20 Grand Slam titles should Djokovic fail to dominate.
“I think he can do that… but if Novak comes back at his best, I remember those couple of years Nadal didn’t have a chance against Novak so I think that’s also important – it depends what happens with Novak.”
Serena Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou is another who believes that Djokovic can “dominate again”.
“Novak is in good physical shape and can play for a few more years. He dominated when Rafa and Roger played their best tennis, so he can dominate again,” he told BBC Sport.
