Here’s an update from Andy Murray about the decision to partner Jamie at the Citi Open as well as his hopes of a singles return.
It’s time for another round of Nick Kyrgios-Novak Djokovic nonsense with “worst guy” Kyrgios the man to step up the plate.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics is less than a year away and two-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka is setting her sights high.
Meanwhile, Svetlana Kuznetsova won’t defend her Washington title due to visa problems.

What’s in the news
Amazon is continuing to pick up tennis rights as they have signed an agreement with the French Tennis Federation to stream matches at Roland Garros from 2021.
The agreement with Amazon is for “Package 2, which includes matches played on the Simonne-Mathieu court and night sessions on the Philippe-Chatrier court. Semi-finals and finals will be co-broadcast (with France Televisions).”
She has already received her country’s highest award, the “Star of Romania” order, and the Patriarchal Cross from the Orthodox Church, and now Simona Halep has been honoured with postage stamps in Romania.
They are called “Simona Halep, the Romanian tennis ambassador”, reports AGERPRES.
“The stamp of the souvenir sheet illustrates the image of Simona Halep raising the Wimbledon 2019 trophy.”
