Madison Keys has been honoured by being named on Forbes’ 2019 Sports 30 under 30 list.
The list hails athletes from all sports, who are all under 30, who are considered to be the next generation of ‘influencers’.
On Keys, they wrote: “Madison Keys is part of the impressive post-Serena Williams wave of American women tennis players climbing through the game’s ranks.
“She in the top ten of the world rankings, the first American woman to do so since Williams, and has already finished in the top four at a major four times in her young career.
“Keys also does advocacy with anti-bullying group Fearlessly Girl.”
Elsewhere, Lucas Pouille has given a candid interview in which he has confessed that his off-court antics are holding his career back.
“I haven’t had the right mindset and the right attitude all the time. When you don’t play well in tennis, it’s the right attitude that gets you out of the hole,” Pouille revealed during an exclusive interview with Le Figaro.
