WATCH: Andy Murray reads ‘mean-ish tweets’ about his attitude, hair and more

Andy Murray has copped a lot of flak from Twitter users over the years and recently took part in the Western & Southern Open’s version of celebrities read “mean-ish tweets”.
Twitter users often have no problem telling sports stars and celebrities exactly how they feel about them. Of course, three-time Grand Slam winner Murray has been on the receiving end throughout his career.
Ahead of his match at the Cincinnati Masters, the Scot was asked to read “mean-ish tweets”, some which dates back to as early as 2010 when he was yet to win a major.
“wow andy murray, your face must ache with all that smiling you do,” one tweet from December 2012 read.
The former world No 1 took it in his stride replying: “Yeah, I am a little bit miserable in front of cameras and when I am on the tennis court. I promise I am not always like that. When the cameras are off, I do smile a lot, but I will take your advice on board and smile a little bit more.”

Another tweet read: “Andy Murray has the attitude of an old bottle of aftershave #stinks” to which the Scot replied: “So he is saying old aftershave stinks. I think my attitude is alright. I am little bit grumpy on court sometimes, but I always try my best.”
