WATCH: Grigor Dimitrov wins point against Rafael Nadal AFTER falling to the floor
Going into a match against Rafael Nadal on clay, you know it’s not going to be easy, and Grigor Dimitrov knew he was going to have to throw everything at the Spaniard in Monte-Carlo.
He fell short, quite considerably short in the end, losing 6-4, 6-1 to Nadal, but he certainly left his mark with two sensational points.
First, as he attempted to hold serve in the first set, Dimitrov landed a drop shop winner AFTER falling to the ground.
A proper ‘groundstroke’ 😉

If that wasn’t impressive enough, in the very next point he produce a touch volley so good you really have to see it to believe it.
The point itself was brilliant, the winner sensational, and the reaction said everything about the sheer effort it takes to even hold your own against Nadal on clay.
