WATCH: Highlights of Roger Federer and Dan Evans’ high-quality match in Doha

Roger Federer and Dan Evans produced first-class entertainment during their opening match at the Qatar Open with the veteran edging out the British No 1.
Playing in his first competitive match in more than a year following two knee operations, Federer battled for two hours and 24 minutes to see off Evans with a 7-6 (10-8), 3-6, 7-5 scoreline.

As far as first-round matches at ATP 250 events go, it was top-notch.
Enjoy the highlights, featuring a lot of Federer’s one-handed backhand winners and some deft touches at the net.
The 39-year-old Swiss player will be back in action on Thursday as he will take on Nikoloz Basilashvili from Georgia in the quarter-final.
