WATCH: Jamie Murray and ‘numpty boy’ Andy Murray jet off to New York for US Open

Brothers Jamie and Andy Murray have jetted off to New York for the Flushing Meadows double-header, but Andy was a bit all over the show ahead of their early morning flight.
The Grand Slam champions are set to take part in the Western & Southern Open and the US Open and this is their first outbound international flight since tennis went on a hiatus back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Jamie filmed the duo shortly after they boarded the flight and explained some of the precautions he took.
“We’ve made it onto the plane, wiped everything down with my wet wipes, wiped down all surfaces. It’s all kind of set up to go,” the seven-time doubles champion said in the Instagram video.
And then brother Andy popped up in the background and Jamie continued: “I’ve got a tough crew around me today, actually. I’ve got numpty boy.
“He’s forgotten his earpods and forgot his laptop charger but I guess that’s what happens when you get up at five in the morning to pack your bag before leaving for the airport.
“So off we go, wish us luck on our endeavours.”
