WATCH: Nick Kyrgios looks to prove double standards with Rafael Nadal video comparison

Just when you thought Nick Kyrgios’ grudge against Rafael Nadal has lost a bit of momentum, up pops the Australian to bring it back into the headlines.
The two have never been best of friends on the ATP Tour, but Kyrgios took the hostility to the next level earlier this year when he accused the Spaniard of being “super salty” during an interview.
Nadal has tried not to get drawn into a war of words, saying “I don’t know Nick, being honest” and “I’m too old for all this stuff”, but his uncle Toni Nadal did hit out at Kyrgios saying he “lacked education”.
Kyrgios was back in the news earlier this week after another verbal attack on chair umpire Fergus Murphy as he called the official “a fu***ng tool”, amongst other things, while he also broke two rackets.
During the match he was also handed a code violation for taking too long to serve and he asked Murphy “so you’re telling me that Rafa plays that quick? Bro, if Rafa plays that quick, I’m retiring from tennis”.
Kyrgios was fined for his misdemeanours after the match, but that is not the end of it as far as the 24-year-old is concerned as he took to social media to highlight the what he thinks are double standards.
In the video, he took 28.22 seconds to serve during his match against Karen Khachanov in Cincinnati while Nadal took 41sec serving to Daniil Medvedev in the Montreal Masters final.
He captioned it on Instagram: “Facts or nah.”
This is unlikely to be the last we have heard about this.
