WATCH: Rafael Nadal hits ball girl then gives her a kiss to make it better

Rafael Nadal produced a “scary” moment and followed it up with an “awwww” moment at the Australian Open after he accidentally hit a ball girl.
The world No 1 took on world No 76 Federico Delbonis from Argentina in the second round at Melbourne Park and the Spaniard accidentally hit a ball girl on the head.
He immediately rushed over to the girl and comforted her before giving her a peck on the cheek.
“For her it was not a good moment, I was so scared for her, the ball was quick and straight on her,” Nadal said after the match on Rod Laver Arena.
“She’s a super brave girl. It has been one of the more scary moments of my career. I’m very happy she is good. She is brave. Well done.”
