Full US Open statement after Novak Djokovic gets defaulted: No ranking points, no prize money, possible fine

Novak Djokovic will lose all the ranking points he earned during the 2020 US Open while is likely to receive a heavy fine after he was defaulted from the tournament.
The tennis community was stunned on Sunday when world No 1 and 17-time Grand Slam winner Djokovic was thrown out of the tournament after he accidentally hit a line judge with a ball during his clash against Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta.
