VIDEO: Highlights of birthday boy and crowd-pleaser Jo-Wilfried Tsonga
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga turns 33 today and while the Frenchman never managed to reach the heights that many thought he would, he has still been one of the most-entertaining players on the ATP Tour in the last two decades.
Having made his debut in 2004, he stunned Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open semi-final four years later to reach his maiden Grand Slam final, but unfortunately he came up short against Novak Djokovic as he went down 4–6, 6–4, 6–3, 7–6 (7–2).
He also finished runner-up at the 2011 ATP World Tour Finals to Roger Federer and appeared in four five other Grand Slam semi-finals.
Here are some videos to celebrate the Frenchman’s birthday.
Let’s start off with compilation featuring his top 10 points. Well, that is according to the creator of the video.
The ATP Tour’s profile on his “colourful personality” back in 2012.
A celebratory dance.
But that was just a little warm-up, here he is dancing the night away.
Have a bit of moonwalking with Roger Federer.
Let’s end it with another compilation.
Okay, one final video of some of his best shots against the top players.
