Andy Murray on teaming up with Emma Raducanu in Wimbledon doubles in future: ‘I’d love to do that’

It looks like Emma Raducanu will get her wish to play doubles with Andy Murray at Wimbledon “at some stage” after the former world No 1 revealed that he is open to teaming up with the US Open champion.
In an interview with Elle UK, Raducanu named three-time Grand Slam winner Murray as her dream Wimbledon doubles partner, saying: “Just once in my life, I’d love to play doubles with Andy Murray at Wimbledon.”
And Murray is happy to oblige, but admits their singles campaigns are more important.
“I would love to play with Emma at some stage. I’m sure we will both focus on having good runs in the singles, but yeah – I’d love to do that,” he said.
Murray also revealed that they discussed it in 2021, but with Raducanu reaching the fourth round in her main draw debut and Murray making it to the third round, it didn’t quite fit into their schedules.
He added: “Last year we talked about it, but we both ended up doing well in the singles.”
