Kyle Edmund is flying the British flag at Wimbledon 2018 and up next is Novak Djokovic. However, John McEnroe has told The Tennis Podcast that Djokovic will “expose Kyle’s weaknesses”.
Edmund, though, is not going to give up that easily and he hopes to emulate England’s World Cup success, reports Sportsmail.
Legendary tennis coach Nick Bollettieri, writing for The Independent, says Juan Martin del Potro is a threat to anyone. The Argentine could meet Rafael Nadal in the quarter-final.

Then there is Tim Henman joining forces with the Champions Tennis to train ball dogs, via Express Sport.
Karen Crouse and Ben Rothenberg, for The New York Times, reports that Wimbledon is keeping with tradition and referred to Serena Williams as “Mrs Williams” after she tied the knot last year.

Federer left Nike for Uniqlo and it was initially reported the new deal was worth more than $30 million-a-year, but sports business expert Daniel Kaplan says he will not be earning that much.
Have on good authority Federer Uniqlo deal nowhere near 30 mil a year. Its 10 mil a year, Nike offered 5 mil a year and only if he was playing. Uniqlo guaranteed for a decade

He explains why Nike didn’t match Uniqlo.
the $5 mil is a guarantee, than i am sure Nike had built in bonuses for performance. they have Maria and Serena deals coming up, if they outbid Uniqlo is would set parameters for those deals https://t.co/pDMXA2uqo4
