WATCH: Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa love story continues at The Boodles
It has been a triumphant return for The Boodles exhibition event at Stoke Park and the pre-Wimbledon grass court event has also provided a stage for the latest chapter of the Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa love story.
Tennis fans have been captivated by the union of the Greek tennis star and his girlfriend Badosa, with the ‘Tsitsidosa’ story causing waves on social media channels in recent weeks with their romantic posts.
Now they are helping each other to prepare for Wimbledon, with the dup practicing together as Tsitsipas played at ATP 250 event in Mallorca earlier this week.
His early exit from that competition gave him a chance to play at The Boodles exhibition event in England, which is hosted by his manager Patricio Apey.
Tsitspias beat Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-4 6-4 on Friday and faced Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic on Saturday, as well as a fun match against his brother Petros.
Yet many cameras capturing an event that always attracts some star names in the audience were focused on the off-court story being created by Tsitsipas and Badosa.
The new glamour couple of tennis were seen practicing together on the impressive grass courts at Stoke Park, while also sharing some intimate moments together.
And Tsitsipas gave an interview to the tournament organisers about a story that is capturing the hearts of tennis fans around the world.

“I told Paula that hitting with here and getting a feel for how her ball comes is very special,” said Tsitsipas.
“We were also to play at 100 per-cent, both of us, exchanging rallies.
“I felt like I had a strong opponent on the other side of the net that could get me going. I’m really happy that she is at such a level that allows me to train hard and also helps me improve, which is so good.”
Tsitsipas’ joy off the court with Badosa has not been backed up by winning performances on the ATP Tour, with his failure to defend the Mallorca title he won last year ensuring the world No 5 will head into Wimbledon with no title wins on his record for over a year.
He has been handed a tough first round draw against Dominic Thiem at Wimbledon and could then face two-time former champion Andy Murray in the second round.
Tsitsipas does not have a great record at Wimbledon, with his high-profile showdown with Nick Kyrgios at The Championships last year ending his hope of improving on his best performance of a fourth round appearance in 2018.
Despite that record, he insists he relishes the challenge of playing on grass.
“People kind of doubted that I can play on grass, I think it’s fair to say,” he stated. I
“I never doubted myself. I said – I insisted, in fact, that I can play on this surface, and it remains one of my favorite surfaces that tennis has to offer. I like playing on grass, probably more than on clay.”
Tsitsipas clearly enjoyed his experience at The Boodles, where a relaxed atmosphere provides the perfect stage for the world’s best players to warm up for Wimbledon.
Andrey Rublev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Borna Coric and Sebastian Korda are among the star names who took part in the event this year and The Boodles will return in 2024.
Stoke Park is owned by the Ambani family, who generously opened the doors to the public to stage The Boodles tennis festival that raised money for local charities.
