Anastasija Sevastova the last seed standing as Caroline Garcia stunned in Mallorca

Anastasija Sevastova is the last seed standing in Mallorca, but she had to work very hard for it.
The Latvian was trailing 6-3 3-0 to Ajla Tomljanovic when she called for the trainer, but somehow rallied to win 12 of the next 13 games to win 3-6 6-3 6-1.
The number three seed and 2017 champion will now face Sam Stosur in the semi-finals after the veteran Australian overcame Alison Riske 6-4 6-2.
Elsewhere, top seed Caroline Garcia crashed out of the competition, losing 6-3 6-3 to 19-year-old American qualifier Sofia Kenin.
“I’m very happy. She’s a great player. It was a really tough match,” Kenin said. “I knew I was playing well and I had a lot of confidence.”
She’ll meet Tatjana Maria in the final after she gotthe better of seventh seed Lucie Safarova 7-6 4-6 6-4.
