Aryna Sabalenka impresses in Strasbourg and Caroline Garcia digs deep to make quarters

Aryna Sabalenka headlined a busy day at WTA Strasbourg as she beat Laura Siegemund to move into the quarter-finals.
Sabalenka is the tournaments highest seed after Ashleigh Barty withdrew with an arm injury, but she showed little signs of the pressures of expectation in a dominant 6-4, 6-3 win.
She will face Monica Puig in the last eight after she saw off Astra Sharma.
It was a hectic day for fourth seed Caroline Garcia, who successfully finished her overnight against Shelby Rogers before beating Rebecca Peterson in straight sets.
Daria Gavrilova was in fighting mood too, as she beat both Diana Marcinkevica and Amandie Hesse.
Fellow Australian Sam Stosur is out, though, after she was well-beaten by Dayana Yastremska, and Wang Qiang also crashed out.
