Eugenie Bouchard wows with workout snaps

Former Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard has wowed followers of her Instagram account with workout snaps shared on Wednesday.
Bouchard was decked out in a pink workout outfit and showing off her toned physique.
Olympian Alysha Newman was among those impressed with Bouchard.
Bouchard has become more of a part-timer on the WTA Tour of late having failed to reach the heights of her 2014 season.
The Canadian achieved each of her best Grand Slam performances in that year.
She was criticised for having a very simple game, but when it worked it worked well.
“Her style is very hard to maintain. She rips from both sides and takes the ball so early. I also don’t feel that she has enough variety in her game and I think she needs to utilize more of the net,” retired Canadian tennis professional Carling Bassett-Seguso said.
Bouchard was also accused of being over-confident.
“She was always saying she expected to win. I am not saying you shouldn’t feel like that, because you should, but you don’t go around and talk about that in interviews,” Bassett-Seguso added.
Mia Gordon has also dissected her compatriots game.
“Genie needs to mix it up and throw in some short balls and a few change-ups and be willing to grind it out,” she said. “I think she needs to figure out how to be more consistent. Here is a girl who goes for broke on almost every point.
“I do think some of her focus may have shifted — we are seeing her on the covers of magazines, we’re seeing her at concerts, out with celebrities, on TV shows and that’s great and I think you can do it all. However, I think she needs to come back down to Earth a little bit and realize that, OK, my tennis is struggling and maybe it’s time to put the spotlight aside and focus on figuring out how to get back to winning matches.”
Bouchard began her 2023 campaign with a wildcard entry into the ASB Classic qualifying round in New Zealand. Despite a convincing victory in the first round over the 11th seed Ann Li, Bouchard was forced to leave the competition before the second round of qualification after contracting food poisoning.
Bouchard entered the qualifying draw for the 2023 Australian Open using her protected ranking, but American Ashlyn Krueger beat her in the first round in three sets.
