WTA Madrid Open draw: Naomi Osaka, Simona Halep, Petra Kvitova find out their opponents

World No 1 Naomi Osaka and Simona Halep find themselves in the same half of the Madrid Open draw while Petra Kvitova and Angelique Kerber are in the other half.
Osaka will open her campaign against 2016 finalist Dominika Cibulkova while fifth seed Karolina Pliskova is a possible quarter-final opponent and Halep could await the winner in the semi-final.
Reigning French Open champion Halep will face off against a qualifier in the first round, but she is on a collision course with WTA Finals winner Elina Svitolina or Miami Open champion Ashleigh Barty in the last eight.
