Jack Draper’s Instagram account has disappeared – what next for the former British No 1?
Jack Draper’s Instagram account appears to have been deleted, with the former British No 1 no longer having a presence on the social media platform.
Draper had over 500,000 followers on his Insta account and it was active last week, with the Cincinnati Open and Britain’s LTA tagging the 2025 Indian Wells Open champion into posts in recent days.
Yet the link to Draper’s account has now been disabled, with the following message appearing when you click on Draper’s Insta handle: “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.”
It is unclear why Draper would delete his account, especially as his sponsors would all be keen to tap into his active following as they look to maximise their association with the former world No 4.
Draper’s social media presence would be even more significant for sponsors given his lack of time on court over the last year, as he has struggled to find a solution to a bone bruising issue in his arm.

Draper broke down in tears on court as he lost at the Montreal Masters earlier this month and he was clearly hampered once again as he lost against Martin Landaluce at the Cincinnati Open earlier this week.
There has been no official announcement over whether Draper will compete at the US Open later this month, where he is due to play with Jessica Pegula in the mixed doubles even a week before the main draw begins.
If Draper is unable to get three a best-of-three-set match in a Masters tournament, it seems highly unlikely that he will play in a Grand Slam tournament where he would be competing over five sets.
Leading injury prevention and athlete welfare expert Stephen Smith has spoken to Tennis365 about Jack Draperâs ongoing struggle and he suggested this is a challenging injury to overcome.
âI wouldnât say itâs uncommon,â said Smith. âWhat we saw at the Canadian Open was genuinely difficult to watch. Heâs been navigating that bone bruising injury in his left arm for a significant period, and bone bruising is notoriously slow to resolve.
âWhat would happen if you keep overloading that is it could end up resulting in a stress fracture, as well. You canât accelerate that biological process too much. You manage your load around it.
âThe drop in his serve speed during the match, they were pretty visible data points that he was having an issue.
âWhen a playerâs serve speed falls that much from their baseline, thatâs a flag that something is limiting their ability to generate force through the kinetic chain.
âSo, for his comeback to continue, I think the priority has to be honest load monitoring â not just how the arms feel day to day.
âI think there would need to be very, very serious quantification of load, and not just time on court, but the actual physical demands â speeds, impacts, changes of direction, racket speed.â

Draper may try and play in the mixed doubles at the US Open, as that would be a less taxing physically and it would also give him a chance to provide a platform to give his sponsors some high-profile exposure.
The Brit signed a lucrative clothing deal with Vuori last year that is reported to be worth several million pounds a year, but he has not played too many matches in that kit due to his injury issues.
